To provide a reassuring and safe running environment for club members and the general public the Worcestershire Trailblazers follow the Government Covid-19 guidelines. For detailed information please review https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
The Worcestershire Trailblazers adhere to all social distancing and group gathering rules. As per Government rules we organise socially distanced running group runs of 6 members or less.
Please see below a summary of the specific measures that we have put into place.
The Worcestershire Trailblazers take great care in the selection of our run locations to minimise the contact with the general public, whilst providing an enjoyable and safe route. As a trail running club our members naturally come into less contact with others compared to urban running. Nevertheless, we try to avoid busy "tourist spots" where possible to minimise contact.
Group members are encouraged to wash and apply anti-bacterial gel to hands before and after runs. Anti-bacterial gel is provided by the club in case members forget their own.
Social distancing and running groups
Run groups of a maximum of 6 members per group are pre-organised within our members only Facebook group. Start times are staggered to maintain social distance at the start, duration and at the end of runs.
A minimum of 1 metre social distance is maintained within group runners as per Government guidelines, with at least 2 metres gap where possible.
As set out in the Government guidelines any members showing any Covid-19 symptoms should not attend group runs.
